SWEA Washington DC will award up to $5,000 in Donations for 2026 to non-profit organizations located within the region of the SWEA Washington DC Chapter; Washington DC, Maryland, or Virginia.
We will support an activity or project that preserves or promotes the Swedish culture and language, through a specific activity, or via the arts with concerts, theater and exhibitions, or via education.
We’re excited you are interested in our Donations and look forward to receiving your application, once you fulfill the requirements below:
An application for Donations should include:
– Name and EIN of the organization/group and its purpose (Please provide a URL, if there is one)
– Information about the number of Members
– What a Donation would be used for
– Amount applied for
– Other factors to consider i.e. please let us know why you think SWEA Washington DC should support the work
