The mission of SWEA Washington DC is to support and promote Swedish culture, language, and traditions while building a strong network for Swedish and Swedish-affiliated women. As part of this mission, we proudly award annual grants to projects and initiatives that highlight Swedish culture, art, language, creativity, and community impact.

Whether you have an art project in need of funding, music to share, a Swedish book that deserves translation, a story worth telling, or an idea that could make a difference in your community—we encourage you to apply.

Grants of up to $15,000 are available to help bring your vision to life.

The deadline to apply is May 15, 2026.
